The Chino Valley Fire District is expanding our scope of service during the COVID-19 pandemic to help our most vulnerable Chino Valley residents. The Chino Valley Fire District, in partnership with the Chino Valley Fire Foundation, established the Serving our Seniors (S-O-S) program to enable individuals at high risk of contracting COVID-19 to self-isolate.

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice. All Chino Valley Fire District facilities will be closed to the public until further notice to reduce the potential exposure of COVID-19 and mitigate negative impacts on our workforce. It is critical that we keep our first responders and professional staff healthy so that we can continue to provide excellent emergency services and meet the needs of the communities that we serve. The Chino Valley Fire District stands by our mission of providing exceptional service and safeguarding the community. There will be no interruption of emergency services during the closure of Fire District facilities.

Chino Valley Fire District Finance Director Steve Heide was installed in January as President of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers during the CSMFO Annual Conference in Anaheim. Steve is just the second special district member and first fire district representative to serve as the elected president of CSMFO in the 63-year history of this statewide professional association for government finance officers.
